Pump House Farm Supplies reserves the right to change packaging. All products and services are subject to availability.


Prices display VAT charged at 20%. Pump House Farm Supplies will charge a fee calculated at PHFS shopping cart for postage costs and packaging costs on product orders. 'Next Day Delivery' or Special Delivery or Courier costs will be charged as requested by our customers by emailing PHFS as they order. Small items will be sent proof of postage at first class rate. Larger items will be sent by a chosen courier.

Prices, on occasions maybe given in error. PHFS reserves the right to change pricing before the sale is fully processed. PHFS reserves the right on any product transaction to charge customers a handling fee and carriage cost on items that are returned for any reason. PHFS reserves the right to change customer loyalty /vouchers as and when PHFS chooses. When a product is purchased through Paypal, and the customer is unable to obtain the product due to price changes or any other reason, PHFS will refund the cost minus the Paypal charge stated to the customer at the time of transaction. Equine blades no longer (from September 2009) carry 'loyalty' eligibility.


Your order will only be processed upon receipt of payment unless otherwise agreed. PHFS will approve account customers. Currently, we accept payment by cheque, via the online cart and over the phone by processing transactions for a number of credit and debit cards. American express not accepted yet. PHFS accepts Paypal payments or postal orders. Reconditioning will be carried out within 24 hours of receipt during a weekday. Depending on what time the post arrives at PHFS on Saturday, your order may have to be sent on the following Monday.

Once we receive your order we can send you an email confirming your order details on request, you will also be given a customer reference number for any future correspondence.

Loss or Damage

On rare occasions blades may have been damaged in the post. Customers are responsible for packing their own blades safely and sending them via a postal service they can trust. They may prefer sending their packets of blades via special delivery and request special delivery by return - whereby all blades are fully insured by Royal Mail. PHFS will use any special postage - either recorded delivery or special delivery as instructed by the customer. Every care is taken by PHFS to return blades safely. On all orders, PHFS are not responsible for those customers who have requested first class post alone. If any blades are damaged in transit to or from PHFS, we will endeavour to notify the customer promptly and where possible will try to redeem blades to working order. Owners of blades are responsible for insuring their own blades or scissors if they get lost in the post. PHFS bears no responsibility for loss or damage of items whilst in the postal system.


Please note that if we experience problems with your order, it may take up to 3 days before you are notified of this.

Work carried out and deliveries will not normally be made on a Sunday or on UK public holidays. Please contact us by telephone if you require a delivery at these times to see whether it is possible for us to make a special delivery.

The AM or PM preference is just that - a preference. We Do Not guarantee any delivery times. We will always try to adhere to your requested preference wherever possible.

Customer Service

Our complaint procedure is available online by using the contact us link. It is easy to use and confidential. We aim to acknowledge all queries within two working days, and deal with complaints fully within five working days.

Statutory Rights

Pump House Farm Supplies are fully committed to providing you with the best possible service. If you are not satisfied in any way with the service that you have received please let us know and your complaint will be investigated. If we are satisfied that your complaint is genuine a replacement or refund will be given. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. As an e-commerce site PHFS agrees to accept goods and refund payment with 7 days of the purchase if the customer is not entirely satisfied with the goods as long as the goods are in the same condition they left PHFS in.


Whilst we agree to use our reasonable endeavours to ensure that the PHFS Site is fully operational and error-free we cannot guarantee this. We therefore accept no responsibility for any defects and/or interruption of the PHFS Site and/or the PHFS Service. We shall be released from our obligations under these Terms and Conditions in the event of any cause beyond our reasonable control, (i.e.: acts of god, civil commotion, riot, flood, fire, drought) which renders the provision of the PHFS or the PHFS Supplies impossible or impractical.


PHFS does not guarantee against dropping your scissors or damage!

Zoom scissors. Cobalt steel is very brittle and if Zoom scissors are dropped, hairline fractures can occur that won't be visible to the human eye. Years later this metal can snap due to this earlier incident. PHFS does not guarantee against snapping . Contact PHFS if in doubt.
